Froggie Meets Mushroom
When assigned to create a stop motion animation, all I could think about was a mushroom growing. I'm not sure why, but it immediately popped into my mind and I just had to make it. I worked with two other students to create this piece, and we decided to incorporate the mushroom into a piece about a frog. My peer suggested we use string to tie together the frog's body so we could move him freely. We changed the background by moving a long paper behind the frog between each shot. For the mushroom to grow, we created 5 different sized mushrooms and switched them out. This was recorded on my cell phone, having it propped up on a cardboard boc above the scene.
