Late stage

For my digital collage project, I wanted to highlight the crippling effects of deforestation and climate change on the lives of flora and fauna. I used the contrast between the oasis and the barren landscape to emphasize the encroaching destruction that threatens the life of the sleeping fawn. Additionally, the deer and the trees have been split, and the gaps are filled with wood and spines, respectively. This shows the unity of life between the deer and the trees, as they are both creatures whose existences are at stake. The fawn sleeping soundly represents the innocence of the forest creatures, as they are unaware of the peril they are in.
