Collage WIP

For my collage, I have decided to create a piece commenting on the rampant deforestation plaguing our planet. In the foreground, a baby deer will be sleeping peacefully in a beautiful, green forest. However, not far beyond the deer, the forest has been destroyed and the trees have been reduced to stumps. This contrast implies that the oasis is sure to soon be exploited and robbed of its life. However, the fawn is completely unaware and defenseless, just as the forest has no way to defend itself.

I plan to use the sky in the far-ground to fill the texture-replacement requirement. It will not be a blue sky, but rather a dark, possibly fiery hellscape.
